About The Position

This position manages the RICA-Baltimore electronic policy and procedure platform, Acadia, such that employees have immediate access to current regulations alongside facility-specific guidance to promote continuous Joint Commission survey readiness and accreditation. This position uses business principles to plan, organize, collaborate with staff, direct and control the systematic and timely review and revision of policies, procedures, and associated forms. This position assists the Director of Staff Development and Training in the preparation, development, presentation and workflow of educational sessions. This position will also analyze mandatory training workflow and propose recommendations for orderly expansion of the Acadia Policy Management Software as a stage for presenting, documenting, tracking and trending facility wide training compliance, leverage analytics as a predictor of facility wide performance improvement opportunities and present recommendations to key stakeholders. Additionally, this position fosters consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents-Baltimore's (RICA-Baltimore) operations, creates and coordinates current posts of approved material to the MDH RICA-Baltimore Web Page, and serves as a liaison (for Acadia and Maryland Department of Health (MDH) web page) between RICA-Baltimore, MDH internal agencies, private external agencies, and the general public.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
  • Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
  • Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

  • Experience in cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools available in Google Workspace.
  • Experience in data entry, editing, and reporting in Acadia Policy Management Software.
  • Experienced in the web-based collaborative platform SharePoint.
