About The Position

Our day habilitation program located in Slingerlands, NY currently has a full-time, 40-hour Administrative Assistant position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (30-minute daily unpaid lunch break), and the rate of pay is $20.50/hour + longevity. Under the direction of the Assistant Executive Director of Krumkill Day Hab the Administrative Assistant will assist in reviewing and preparing Day Habilitation billing and capturing daily attendance through the Agency’s electronic health record system. The Administrative Assistant will support the Krumkill Day Hab program by creating and managing database information, spreadsheets, disseminating, and tracking information for departmental staff, communicating pertinent information to providers and families, and various other clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of individual and agency information
  • Ability to secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adapt quickly, multitask efficiently, and maintain high levels of productivity, detail oriented, and be flexible with day-to-day priorities
  • Able to work both independently and as member of a team
  • Professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions

Nice To Haves
