About The Position

Clear Compass Financial Group provides a broad-based approach to helping members achieve multiple financial goals by analyzing their current situation, developing in-depth financial programs, and implementing integrated financial strategies. Thrivent Financial, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, supports its approximately 2.6 million members through financial solutions, member activities, and resources for the Christian community and nonprofit organizations. This Administrative Assistant position offers crucial support to Clear Compass Financial Group's daily operations, ensuring a positive member experience through a friendly and organized approach. The role involves managing communications, office supplies, computer systems, and various administrative tasks to support client relations and practice operations.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired.
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.
  • Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial.
  • Must be able to work with all roles of the team.
  • Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients.
  • Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations.
  • Verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
  • Fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
  • All persons with access to Wealthscape are deemed Access Persons and are subject to Compliance with the firm’s Code of Ethics which requires all outside brokerage accounts to be maintained at one of the firms designated by TIMI.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Financial representatives in the preparation and follow up for client/member meetings.
  • Provide back-up support on tasks that do not require licensing or registration for other staff members.
  • Prepare or coordinate the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects.
  • Support projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions.
  • Drive client/member facing activity by scheduling meetings with clients/members on behalf of Financial Representatives.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to requests for information.
  • Perform routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies and processing mail.
  • Update the contact management system with client/member contact and preference information.
  • Track practice expenses and oversee practice bill paying.
  • Participate in the business planning process.
  • Assist with the conversion of paper files to electronic files.
  • Complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
