The Southeast Health District, Coffee Wellness Clinic is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of Administrative Assistant based in Douglas, GA. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years of job-related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a clinic or medical office setting.
  • Experience working with HIV/AIDS patients.
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, performs a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to support the Southeast Health District’s Ware Wellness Center.
  • Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling patients, patient check-in/out, processing referrals, electronic health record data entry, and providing transportation assistance.
  • May research, investigate, and resolve program data or issues, draft documentation, reports, or presentations, and handle confidential information.
  • Represents the program or unit by providing information and assistance to internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
