About The Position

One of the fastest growing public accounting and advisory firms is seeking an administrative assistant/receptionist in our downtown Cleveland, Ohio office. Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional proofreading skills and business acumen.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and complete tasks on-time and on-budget.
  • Possess a professional demeanor and enthusiastic personality who is comfortable interacting with the firm management, shareholders, professionals, and administrative team.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines for presentations or projects.
  • Must possess an excellent work ethic, good time management and attention to detail skills, and be exceptional at multi-tasking.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative support duties to include typing of financial statements, letters, various other reports and presentations, and copy work.
  • Schedule meetings, and book conference rooms for client visits.
  • Complete the scanning and binding of financial statements and related reports.
  • Assist with front desk/phone coverage for receptionist breaks/lunch.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
  • Mail regular or certified mail, deliveries and overnights as needed.
  • Order lunch and or breakfast for meetings and set-up, clean-up from.
  • Update and maintain the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) database and print reports as needed for the professional staff.
  • Assist with the marketing needs of the firm, assist in the proposal process.
  • Assist the administrative staff with various projects as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Receive and respond to routine correspondence.
  • Scan client source documents for system autoflow.
  • Assist, support, and work closely with clients, staff, and other team members in providing payroll, tax, bookkeeping and accounting services.
  • Effectively prioritize work volume utilizing multi-tasking skills in order to meet filing deadlines.
