About The Position

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing incoming and outbound enrollment and other paperwork with high accuracy, as determined and/or directed by Acumen, the state, or the contract and all updates of the contract. The Administrative Assistant will assist the Executive Director with tasks related to enrollment, training, and ongoing customer service for employers and employees. This role requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision, communicate effectively when questions arise, and use strategic thinking to complete multiple tasks. The position also involves conducting thorough and accurate reviews of applicable paperwork and demonstrating a working knowledge of and adherence to contract, state, and Medicaid specifications. Identifying and sharing opportunities for process improvements is also a key aspect of this role. The employee will be vigilant in supporting a positive and compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and acting accordingly.

Requirements

  • High accuracy in processing paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outbound enrollment and other paperwork with high accuracy.
  • Assist the Executive Director with tasks related to enrollment, training, and ongoing customer service for employers and employees.
  • Interact with program employers and employees via phone and electronically.
  • Train employers and employees on how to use a phone app and computer portal.
  • Schedule appointments and manage a Google calendar.
  • Receive, sort, scan, upload, and retrieve forms, correspondence, and documents of a confidential and time-sensitive nature.
  • Manage, distribute, and track program-specific materials.
  • Maintain a specified filing system.
  • Work independently with limited supervision and communicate with the Executive Director or designee when questions arise.
  • Use strategic thinking to complete multiple tasks.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate reviews of applicable paperwork.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of and abide by contract, state, and Medicaid specifications.
