About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will assist with concierge responsibilities, incoming calls, inquiries, admissions follow up, preparation and distribution of packets and general mailings, scheduling/conducting tours, reports, County and Medicaid billing. Ensure safety and security of participants, community members and guests. Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home, located on 10 beautifully wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum of two years' administrative office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel Power point, and Outlook
  • Strong Customer Service skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, geriatric population preferred
