Answering office phones and triaging patient calls, scheduling and coordinating appointments, updating patient accounts and insurance coverage, maintaining patient health records in compliance with HIPAA, verifying insurance coverage, monitoring referral status, registering patients, collecting copays, entering referrals, obtaining signed consents, communicating with team members and outside offices, and keeping track of patients during office hours. This role also involves appropriate cleaning of the office space and flexibility to cover different locations and times.
