About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will provide operational and administrative support to the Amgen Oncology Medical Affairs Fellowship Program. This role will assist with recruitment activities, professional candidate communications, interview coordination, Fellow logistics, and day-to-day program operations tasks. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-based environment. A background in business management or project management is strongly preferred. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, aligned with program needs and key recruitment periods, with peak periods from August to January. This position is located at the Irvine Rinker Campus in Irvine.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Fellowship program, including tracking timelines, maintaining program materials, and updating the program webpage.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and events, including scheduling information sessions, webinars, and preparing materials
  • Manage candidate communications and interview scheduling, including calendar coordination and maintaining records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and program records.
  • Provide logistical support for fellows, including meetings, travel coordination, and reimbursements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
