As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our managers, employees, and customers. You will assist in daily office needs and manage our company’s general administrative activities. A successful Administrative Assistant will ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Two (2) years of experience in a licensed child care facility, required

Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments
  • Writing and distributing emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Developing and maintaining filing systems
  • Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures
  • Ordering office supplies and work with vendors and suppliers for pricing
  • Maintaining contact lists
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable invoices and payment distribution
  • Providing general support to visitors and vendors
  • Acting as point of contact for internal and external clients
