About The Position

Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for bookkeeping, teammate onboarding, general office management, assisting with Camp-Resort social media, and other duties as assigned by the General Manager. This is a full-time position that reports to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office management preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues
  • Current certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Possess excellent organization skills, as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess exceptional guest relations skills
  • Weekend & holiday hours are required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding of new team members at the Camp-Resort. This includes: Completing I9 verification and inputting that into our database.
  • Helping team member get set-up in HR management system and assuring they now how to clock-in/out.
  • Set up paper timecard for team member if they aren’t in HR management system on the first day of work.
  • Assuring that the team member gets handed off to their department supervisor for training.
  • Manage the onsite bookkeeping needs. This includes: Having a good understanding of our Chart of Accounts.
  • Receiving and coding all invoices.
  • Assisting the General Manager with the coding of credit card receipts.
  • Pulling any reports requested by General Manager, District Manager, or Home Office Accountant.
  • Manage the onsite cash handling. This includes: Counting and verifying deposits, cash draws, and safes.
  • Pulling deposits from all vending locations at the Camp-Resort. Examples include laundry machines and soda machines.
  • Bringing deposits to the bank.
  • Assuring the property has the needed change in the correct locations.
  • Managing the cash in any property ATMs.
  • Work with the General Manager to train team members on cash handling policies and address any cash handling issues that may arise.
  • Assist with filing any team member certifications.
  • Assist Guest Relations Manager with social media messages.
  • Assist with purchasing and monitoring office supplies.
  • Using our review monitoring systems, watch for trends (good and bad) and bring those to the attention of the General Manager.
  • Help organize job fairs for the Camp-Resort.
  • Help marketing organize any RV Shows the property will attend.
