About The Position

Summary:The ideal candidate must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information, be well organized, and work well with others. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills. Personality that represents American Foods Group’s culture. As an Administrative Assistant, you will: Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, supervisors, employees, vendors, and the general public Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence Perform data entry and scan documents Manage calendars when necessary. Assist in resolving any administrative problems Answer calls from customers regarding their inquiries Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails Maintain office supplies for department NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior secretary or receptionist experience.
  • Working knowledge of, and ability to use computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Working knowledge of current office practices and procedures.
  • Skill in providing effective customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and maintain a professional composure.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including, but not limited to, multiline phone, computer, printer, copier, scanner, and fax.

Responsibilities
