About The Position

Bring your organizational expertise to the heart of one of Las Vegas' premier culinary destinations as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Bakery Department at MGM Grand. In this dynamic role, you'll help keep daily operations running seamlessly while partnering with a talented pastry team dedicated to creating exceptional desserts and unforgettable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting in an administrative role preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and callers and address their needs, answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department, and respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff
  • Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff
  • Compile, copy, sort, file, and scan department documents
  • May prepare departmental reports as needed, perform a variety of administrative tasks, and maintain office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs
  • Work closely with functional department groups as necessary
  • Prepare purchase orders for all goods and services purchased by the department
