Work arrangement: Onsite - Weekly schedule consists of two 12‑hour shifts and two 8‑hour shifts, including one weekend per month Occ Summary In support of a department or group of professionals, regularly required to resolve moderately complex (non-routine) administrative problems independently or with others. Problem resolution may include research. Tasks are typically diverse and advanced. Work Performed A detail-oriented administrative assistant with strong customer service skills to support the Duke University Health System Central Staffing Office. This position will perform the duties of the administrative clerks within the Central Staffing Office which include accepting and processing staff callouts, assignment of patient care attendants throughout the acute care settings and participation in clinical staffing allocations throughout the organization. Additionally, administrative duties will include team scheduling, time and attendance maintenance, ordering of supplies and other administrative duties. Minimum Qualifications Education High school education or equivalent. Experience Two years of administrative support experience of increasing variety and/or complexity Degrees, Licensures, Certifications N/A Knowledge,Skills and Abilities Creatively uses PC, word processing, and other office tools. Thorough knowledge of department policies, procedures, and goals. Comfortable using multiple electronic platforms such as email, Excel, and other electronic spreadsheets.
