About The Position

Responsible for providing customer service and marketing assistance to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.

Requirements

  • Normally requires an Associate’s Degree in a business or agriculture related field or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of office related work experience.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • May be required to work extended hours during busy season.
  • May be required to travel independently and overnight.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles data and prepares accurate invoices for all service work and products sold in a timely manner to ensure accurate receivables.
  • Reconciles inventory variances.
  • Provides quality customer service to walk-in customers and on the phone.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate inventory and inventory position (booking) records for all products.
  • Processes payments and prepares daily deposit and balances deposit to daily sales report.
  • Operates a high volume grain scale, including weighing, probing and accurately grading both inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Enters scale tickets into an automated grain system.
  • Assists in maintaining complete and accurate records in accordance with company grain policies.
  • Accurately communicates producer grain position to Grain Accounting Department.
  • Takes initiative to learn and understand location grain operations and processes.
  • Supports all Managers/Salespeople with marketing activities.
  • May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.
  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
