About The Position

Plains All American is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). We own an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets in key crude oil and NGL producing basins and transportation corridors and at major market hubs in the United States and Canada. On average, Plains handles more than 6 million barrels per day of crude oil and NGL in its Transportation segment. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas. We are looking for highly-motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment. Plains is looking for an organized and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join our South Texas Trucking group in Three Rivers, Texas. Reporting to the district manager, you’ll have an opportunity to become a trusted partner who keeps our team running smoothly and efficiently while making a real impact. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years in an administrative or office support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker, proactive problem solver, and effective communicator who can interact confidently with internal teams and external partners.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with drug and alcohol policy, including pre-employment D&A testing.
  • Satisfactory professional references.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize reports for budget forecasting, volume tracking, overtime, and other operational needs.
  • Manage office correspondence, process invoices, and maintain accurate filing systems.
  • Order equipment and supplies to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain safety handbooks and assist with compliance assurance.
  • Ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Coordinate employee training schedules and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact at Reception when needed and route calls appropriately.
  • Support facility upkeep and assist with special projects as assigned.
