About The Position

The incumbent will provide administrative and statistical work in gathering, compiling, tabulating, computing and editing basic data for statistical reports and studies, establishing and maintaining filing and data systems; preparing monthly and quarterly reports, writing and typing correspondence; answering calls and issuing permits for livestock entering the state. Will work in both state and federal systems. Must be able to use technologies and tools for the transformation of raw data from public sources into meaningful and useful information in a database for analysis purposes, to perform data validation, and to create reports from this data. The goal is to aggregate data from multiple sources into a database that allows for the easy interpretation of large volumes of data. Common functions will be to extract, transform, and load data for search ability and reporting purposes. This is a Full-Time position with the Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources.
