As part of our Physician Services team, you won’t just be handling tasks — you’ll be helping patients, families, and caregivers receive the care and support they need, when they need it most.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a medical facility or medical office setting.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing communications and coordinating activities in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and agency specific systems and databases required.
  • Proven customer service skills dealing with a health care service provider.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment including the handling of highly confidential medical information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a member of a team

Responsibilities

  • Be the behind-the-scenes backbone supporting our hospice, palliative, and primary care providers.
  • Interact compassionately with patients, families, referral sources, and team members.
  • Coordinate daily schedules for physicians and advanced practice clinicians to ensure timely care.
  • Manage patient communications and appointment confirmations in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Ensure timely, accurate communication between field staff and office-based team members.
  • Prepare reports, manage sensitive documents, and support departmental communications with professionalism and care.
