This role involves handling time-sensitive materials, processing payroll data, managing procurement card transactions, and maintaining accurate files. The position requires responding to incoming calls, scanning and maintaining files, standardizing electronic filing protocols, and updating contact lists. The Administrative Assistant will also requisition supplies, manage staff calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with financial spreadsheets related to capital and bond programs. Additional duties include assisting staff with travel arrangements, expense reports, and preparing PowerPoint presentations. The role provides clerical support such as typing, filing, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments. The assistant will monitor staff email inboxes, document meeting minutes, track internal agreements, and assist other workers. Participation in emergency management activities during a local state of disaster is also required.
