About The Position

McKesson is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative, operational, and office support that helps keep daily business activities running efficiently. This role serves as a key resource for employees, leaders, visitors, and external partners by managing office operations, coordinating communications, maintaining records, and supporting a variety of administrative initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically requires 1+ years of experience in an administrative assistant, office assistant, office coordinator, customer service, receptionist, or related support role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating communications, or performing administrative support functions.
  • Experience with data entry, document management, and record maintenance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or administrative certification.
  • Experience supporting operations, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
  • Experience coordinating travel arrangements and expense reporting.
  • Experience preparing business reports, presentations, or employee communications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary administrative support resource for site leadership and employees.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, mail, and correspondence.
  • Greet visitors, vendors, and guests while providing professional customer service and support.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms and prepare supporting materials as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain travel-related documentation.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems while ensuring document accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry, reporting, document preparation, and presentation support using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Order, track, and maintain office and workplace supplies and coordinate equipment repairs or service requests.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other administrative documentation.
  • Support employee communications, office events, meetings, and engagement activities.
  • Assist with administrative projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential employee, business, and operational information.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
