About The Position

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Creative Services team. This role supports the business by managing administrative tasks, coordinating billing, handling promotional item distribution, and assisting with general office duties. The contributions of the Administrative Assistant will directly impact the business by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the Creative department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with billing processes and promotional item coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process invoices for creative projects and departmental expenses.
  • Track and reconcile billing records to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of items for campaigns, events, and client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of promotional item usage and stock levels.
  • Assist internal branches with custom promotional needs (quoting and ordering).
  • Distribution/fulfillment resource for internal departments and branches.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical).
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence for the department.
  • Prepare expense reports and coordinate with staff for submission.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize departmental events.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Creative Department and other teams.
  • Support creative staff with project coordination and resource needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
