The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for scheduling and maintaining calendars for appointments, meetings, and travel. They will assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting, and organize the administrative aspects of meetings, including agendas, site, food/beverage, technology, and documents. This role involves answering and screening calls, greeting visitors, providing procedural information, and answering questions related to operational matters. The Administrative Assistant will perform routine to moderately complex word processing and document creation, making decisions on formatting and layout, and editing for accuracy and consistency. They will also compile reports, graphics, and statistical data, create reports under general instruction, and display data to support needs. Maintaining filing systems and confidential records, opening, reading, and prioritizing mail, and initiating return correspondence are also key duties. The role includes conducting basic research and analysis to support administrative needs, operating and maintaining office equipment, and potentially ordering supplies.
