This position provides administrative and clerical support to facilitate the priorities of the office. The role involves managing calls and visitors, responding to inquiries, handling mail and supplies, and ensuring timely responses to management requests. The Administrative Assistant will also review outgoing correspondence for accuracy and adherence to established processes, retrieve and summarize information, coordinate meeting logistics, and maintain records for educational courses. Additionally, the role supports Nursing Staff meetings by communicating schedules, creating minutes, and organizing materials. The position requires maintaining personnel listings, departmental records, and tracking systems for expenditures. The Administrative Assistant may also act as a project manager for special departmental projects and is responsible for completing mandatory training related to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards.
