About The Position

The Administrative Assistant for Student Life serves the Student Life office by providing clerical support to the Dean of Students and Student Life office and serves as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator. This role acts as a receptionist, manages calendars, prepares correspondence, and provides day-to-day administrative support to the Student Life Office staff. The position also serves as the first point of contact for students, staff, and faculty seeking information, assists with student organization registration and event approvals, and oversees online platforms and marketing. Additionally, the role assists in planning and coordinating Student Life programs and campus events, manages the office's monthly budget, and ensures office organization. A key responsibility is administrating the planning and execution of various Women’s Ministry events. The position works in a standard office environment and various locations for student events, both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a receptionist for the Dean of Students and the Student Life office
  • Prioritize and forward relevant information that comes to the Student Life office
  • Maintain appointment calendar and travel arrangements for the Dean of Students
  • Prepare and receive correspondence and communication as needed by office staff
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Student Life Office staff
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and faculty seeking assistance and information regarding services, activities, and organizations
  • Assist with student organization registration, event approvals, and documentation
  • Oversee online platforms, email communication, and marketing
  • Assist in planning, promoting, and logistical coordination of Student Life programs and campus events
  • Oversee the monthly budget for the office of Student Life, including processing purchase requests, invoices, reimbursements, maintaining office supplies, and budget tracking
  • Ensure office cleanliness, organization, and appearance
  • Administrate the planning and execution of various Women’s Ministry events, including Koinonia, Women of the Word, etc, in consultation with Mrs. Mohler and other women’s ministry leaders on campus
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned to support the mission of the Student Life Office.
