Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required with three years' with experience in working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills in Microsoft Office (word & excel) required.
  • Able to be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, customer service and leadership skills essential.
  • Evidence of understanding and empathy for the PWDD population.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding staff/person supported issues.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, working independently and cooperatively as a team, be flexible and demonstrate knowledge of and ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge to work professionally with multiple services provider agencies, etc., required.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License in accordance with Agency policies; ability to travel.
  • Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in human services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Self Direction services is a plus.
  • Prior electronic record keeping experience is preferred.
