About The Position

This position will maintain the Liquid Nicotine and Nicotine Vapor Product Directory. The position also provides administrative and operational support for the Regulated Products Enforcement Unit, whose staff members investigate and prosecute suspected violations of consumer protection statutes regulating certain products, including liquid nicotine and nicotine vapor products, products containing kratom, and products containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This individual will receive and process certification forms and payments from manufacturers of liquid nicotine and nicotine vapor products seeking to have their products included in the Directory and will communicate with manufacturers when information is missing. In addition, this individual will enter data into the Directory as well as manage and maintain correspondence, documents, and files for the Regulated Products Enforcement Unit.

Requirements

• Competent working knowledge of case file management and basic correspondence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Data entry skills.
• Proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in time management.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to organize and manage large quantities of written and verbal information.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adjust priorities without close supervision.
• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and databases.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to interact effectively with a diverse workforce and the general public.
