About The Position

DaVita is hiring an Administrative Assistant Patient Care Technician to provide administrative support to a Team while making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. This position will be housed out of our Apple Avenue Dialysis outpatient center located in East Muskegon, MI. As an Administrative Assistant, you'll be a part of a Team where your personal and professional growth are top priorities. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Discover a day in the life of a PCT and learn how our PCTs & RNs cannulate patients to start dialysis. In this support role you will ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders. You also will assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments.

Requirements

Pass a drug screen & background check.
Personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office).
Type 60 WPM with minimal errors.
High school diploma or GED.
Obtain CMS- approved Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification within the first 6 months, and operate as a PCT when scheduled for PCT shifts.
