About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Operations and Logistics Assistant to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations, with a focus on shipping, inventory management, auction setup, and general logistical support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree preferred
  • Three years of office management, logistics and operations experience preferred.
  • Superb communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and Logistics: Pack, label, and ship outgoing items efficiently and accurately. Track shipments and communicate with clients regarding shipping status.
  • Invoice Preparation: Generate and prepare invoices for completed jobs and sales, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
  • Supplies Management: Order supplies as needed, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Inventory Control: Keep accurate records of inventory, track usage on each job, and conduct regular inventory counts. Create and update numbers and color-coding for tape used in projects.
  • Staff Scheduling: Assist in scheduling staff for auctions and other operational needs, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and events.
  • Auction Setup and Closing: Set up for new auctions, close out completed auctions, and ensure all logistics are handled efficiently.
