About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Administrative Assistant and Legal Assistant at Community Hospital. The role involves drafting legal and other documents, researching statutes and regulations, preparing materials for meetings, and providing administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). The position also includes participating in policy development, completing special projects, and handling general administrative duties such as correspondence and phone calls. The work location is in-person/onsite in Grand Junction, CO 81505.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies and a valid, current Paralegal Certification; OR five (5) years of experience in healthcare administration.
  • Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an Administrative Assistant as well as a Legal Assistant.
  • Drafts legal and other documents as requested.
  • Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, articles, and other sources; provides written analysis as requested.
  • Assists with preparation or materials for meetings, councils and committees as requested.
  • Prepare and review agreements, including employment agreements.
  • Provide administrative support for the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
  • Participate in the definition and development of policies, procedures and programs.
  • Successfully complete special projects and other assignments as requested.
  • General administrative duties i.e. answering correspondence and taking telephone calls.
