About The Position

This position provides essential day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Executive and Human Resources (HR) teams for the Laboratory. This role serves as a primary, first point of contact to staff, students, contributors, and visitors, delivering high-quality customer service and responding to inquiries appropriately. This role is responsible for coordinating a variety of processes, supporting budget preparation and maintaining accurate records across multiple teams while providing seamless professional level support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Demonstrated experience providing professional, customer-focused administrative or HR support, including responding to inquiries and routing requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing documents, records, and data across multiple systems.
  • Experience following established procedures and workflows consistently while managing recurring, task-based responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee or organizational information, in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of HR and administrative platforms (i.e., Workday, Costpoint, Versatile RM, and Microsoft Office and Google suite).
  • Experience managing shared email inboxes or queues, ensuring timely, clear, and appropriate responses.
  • Prior experience in an HR, administrative, or operations support role is preferred.
