This position is within the Office of Professional Standards and is responsible for policy management, accreditation preparation and maintenance, and coordinating with other departments, divisions, and agencies. The role involves reviewing and updating policies, assisting with the creation of new policies, maintaining department forms, and formatting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Administrative Assistant will also serve as the agency's subject matter expert for accreditation compliance, draft related policies, and assist in re-accreditation events. Additionally, the position requires coordination with other entities to ensure policy changes do not negatively impact accreditation practices and to share or request policies as needed. The role also includes participation in relevant organizations, attending meetings and conferences, and working on special projects assigned by command staff.
