Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
  • Requires one year of professional experience in a public or private organization.
  • Requires ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as staff assistant to the Deputy Director of State Central Register.
  • Serves as a confidential liaison to the Budget and Payroll Sections of the Department.
  • Reviews correspondence and apprises the Deputy Director of urgent issues.
  • As an administrative assistant to the Deputy Director, screens phone calls for the Deputy Director, Deputy SCR Administrators, and supervisory staff.
  • Oversees the compilation of the monthly personnel report and maintenance of controlled correspondence reports, appropriate records, and files.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
