Provides general office, document preparation and administrative support for an individual, department, office or designated staff group. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Answers phone and greets visitors; responds to inquiries and provides information using established guidelines or refer to appropriate individual. Types correspondence and forms; scans and faxes documents, makes copies, maintains files (electronic and hard). Receives, sorts and distributes mail. Schedules routine appointments, maintains office/department calendars and makes routine travel arrangements. Prepares travel expense reimbursement according to guidelines. Performs basic data entry such as invoices and purchase orders; track purchases/receipts and process for payment. Enters personnel/payroll information in HR system. Monitors, maintains and stocks office, toner, paper and miscellaneous supplies as needed. Maintains/updates contact information, directories, departmental lists, email lists, databases and website. Compiles applications; provides applicant information to faculty; sends correspondence to applicants; answers general questions on program/course. Performs other duties as assigned.
