About The Position

Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for downloading and archiving finalized course and program proposals, memos, and other files related to the curriculum process. The position involves typing, formatting, and creating reports from academic and room scheduling, curriculum, and catalog software. Responsibilities also include managing and archiving files from the Common Course Numbering Process, typing and formatting content for the annual college catalog, supporting the transfer program through draft checking, and assisting in scheduling and coordinating curriculum committee meetings, including agenda and meeting minutes preparation and archiving.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and reviewing forms, documents, and other written materials; OR six months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated writing and proofreading skills, with demonstrated experience in producing error-free, high-quality documentation and professional correspondence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with various computer programs including scheduling or curriculum or catalog software, student information systems, and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience maintaining organized digital archives and document repositories with high accuracy, security, and attention to detail.
