About The Position

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact with a highly regarded nonprofit that has been serving the community for decades. We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to help complete a critical project updating and organizing personnel records. Prior human resources experience a plus. Location : Onsite in Mill Valley Start Date: January 20, 2026 Duration : Approximately 1–2 weeks Schedule : Full time, standard business hours

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Experience with filing systems and administrative tasks preferred.

  • Human resources experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer all personnel records into a new filing system.
  • Create new folders with appropriate labels and inserts.
  • Label records accurately by staff name and hire date.
  • Ensure all personnel data is filed according to updated guidelines and verify compliance.
  • Complete general filing tasks as needed.
  • Assemble new hire packets and folders, including leave packets and recruitment materials for job fairs and onboarding.
