About The Position

Provides administrative and operational support to the Employment Law Group within the Legal Department, applying knowledge gained through training and experience. Handles a variety of routine tasks in accordance with established procedures, while exercising sound judgment, attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills to support day-to-day legal and employment-related activities.

Requirements

  • Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet objectives.
  • Understand and effectively use standard office equipment and standard software packages to support business processes.
  • Acquire, organize, protect and process data in order to fulfill business objectives.
  • Select and deploy the appropriate office system and use it to optimum effect.
  • High School (HS) (Required)
  • General Experience - 7 to 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Respond to routine requests using form letters or emails; respond to more unusual requests by editing templates to create customized responses.
  • Schedule appointments, make arrangements for meetings and conferences, and organize travel plans, following detailed instructions to facilitate business meetings.
  • Create, organize, and maintain files containing the correspondence and records of a senior colleague.
  • Manage daily administrative operations for the Employment Law Group, including monitoring shared inboxes and Workday queues, triaging requests, coordinating scheduling, and maintaining accurate records in Passport.
  • Support employment law processes by handling unemployment inquiries, conducting ER history searches, managing case filings, tracking involuntary terminations, and assisting with matters such as severance payments, reasonable suspicion testing, and compliance programs.
  • Coordinate legal and financial workflows by processing outside counsel invoices, managing settlement and payment requests, assisting with reserves and matter tracking, and collaborating with HR, legal partners, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant execution of tasks.
