About The Position

CIBC’s Wood Gundy team is the full-service brokerage division of CIBC serving our high net worth clientele. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide ongoing support to the branch manager, investment advisors and their teams through managing the reception area of the Wood Gundy branch, provide excellent customer service to clients, and manage the day to day activities. You will also ensure the efficiency of the operations of the branch through a wide range of administrative activities. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible
  • Working towards a degree/diploma
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline and/or knowledge of business, economics and/or finance through education and experience
  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified
  • Must reside within Canada

Responsibilities

  • Managing the reception area of the Wood Gundy branch
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Manage the day to day activities of the branch
  • Ensure the efficiency of the operations of the branch through a wide range of administrative activities
  • Maintaining compliance standards in client dealings/client files
  • Conduct administrative activities and engage in administrative processes associated with branch management
  • Assist in problem solving and finding solutions
  • Go above and beyond in assisting to find a resolution
  • Connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful
  • Enhance relationships by collaborating with your team and providing administrative support to ensure client needs are met
