About The Position

This is a grant funded full-time/temporary position with an expected end date of 9/29/2027. The position is responsible for the successful operation and administering of all aspects of the Elder/APS Program.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years’ experiences in general office responsibility.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Have a high tolerance to stress and able to work as a team.
  • Must have good writing and problem-solving skills and be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to coworkers, clients, and vendors.
  • Must have the ability to operate standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computer telephone systems, calculator, copies, and fax machines.
  • Must have no felony convictions.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening test and a background check if applicable.
  • Must have a current valid Driver’s License and be insurable with the Comanche Nation Headquarters Insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records for files, participant logs, sign in sheets, intake forms.
  • Works in coordination with Indian health Service Staff (PHN), CHR’s and health care organizations, and with the State Title II Programs for information on available resources, referral services.
  • Coordinates with elders, tribe and other program in service area to schedule social and recreation type activities each month.
  • Assist with monthly Program Narrative Reports, on a timely basis.
  • Assist with preparing and maintain records logs.
  • Will assist with program planning based on caregiver needs assessments, monitor information and provide informational handouts.
  • Will address questions, and document all services provided.
  • Will perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
  • Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies.
  • Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statement using word processing, spreadsheet, and database with software such as Microsoft office Suite or other programs.
  • Will assist elderly clients and caregivers with information about available program services, assist with gaining access to outside resources.
  • All other duties as assigned.
