This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Wildfire Resiliency Training Center.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communications skills, both written and oral
  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites applications and business software applications
  • Problem solving skills highly desirable
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field is required.
  • One to three years of administrative or clerical experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, photocopying, and electronic communications.
  • Creates and tracks purchase requisitions and purchase orders for the department and associated grants.
  • Supports the director and staff as well as contract instructors and other contract staff with academic and course delivery activities.
  • Generates facility use requests, travel requests, and key requests.
  • Assists students enrolling in WRTC classes that require additional paperwork
  • Coordinates and maintains staff and departmental records.
  • Creates documents using Microsoft Office Suite and other related business software applications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
