About The Position

This position offers the change to support staff who provide essential services to the community. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be supporting the daily operations of the office by handling communication, organizing information, and assisting staff with key tasks. This role helps keep programs running smoothly by managing paperwork, tracking activities, and supporting staff needs.

Requirements

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain invoices, prepare payments, and submit financial information to the Treasurer’s Office
  • Receive incoming mail and distribute items to the appropriate staff members
  • Track inventory and purchase needed supplies using approved methods
  • Submit training requests, maintain course lists, and assist with annual planning
  • Generate WITS reports and assist with prevention plan data evaluations
  • Assist with contracts, agreements, special projects, and communication with providers and school districts
