About The Position

We are looking for an Administrative and Commercial Coordinator to join our Chemocals Intermediates team in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for performing a multi-faceted role in our dynamic Chemical Intermediates Team. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring seamless day-to-day activities within the Chemical Intermediate’s Commercial Teams. The role is responsible for coordinating team calendars, scheduling and planning local, regional and global meetings and events, and producing reports and associated slide decks for executives. This commercially focused position also provides the opportunity to further develop your communication skills, analytical and customer-facing experience, as well as business acumen through creation of internal and external communication materials, managing the first order process, and providing support to both Sales and Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially PowerPoint.
  • 2+ years of working experience.
  • AI and digitalization management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A Degree in Marketing or Business Administration (preferred).
  • SAP and Adobe Acrobat knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating global, regional, and local meetings and attendance at trade/industry events, while managing executive calendars, and processing VP expense reports.
  • Supporting Sales with managing leads, entering Sales Contracts into centralized databases and providing backup with the Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce, with entries and opportunity tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinating and drafting external communications, including press releases, pricing increases in close collaboration and partnership with Business Management, Global Chemical Intermediates Communications team.
  • Helping create effective and engaging internal communications; this includes driving concept and preparation of events and associated slide decks and emails, such as townhall meetings and HR topics, as well as messages from leadership (written, digital/video, etc.)
  • Managing and adding new creative content to internal platforms and social media sites.
  • Gathering the necessary information for the timely completion of first order entry process.
  • Serving as the OBSERVE Coordinator for Chemical Intermediates in Houston and remote employees.
  • Handling miscellaneous administrative tasks, included but not limited to ordering office supplies, planning employee luncheons and teambuilding events, etc.
  • Handling special projects as necessary.
