About The Position

In the role of Clerical Officer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive and customer-focused service across Administration Department, with a particular emphasis on administrative tasks related to Pre-admissions. Your duties will encompass but are not restricted to: Ensuring patients possess the appropriate level of health fund coverage. Take payments of any out of pockets fee from patients. Balance and close cash drawers at the end of shift. Provide timely and accurate information to the Clinical Team.

  • Basic Medical Terminology Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terms adds value to your profile.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: You display an effective ability to solve problems.
  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months).
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
