Requirements

  • 10 + years working in the Information Technology field.
  • 5 + years experience managing the integration of multiple software solutions.
  • 5 + years experience managing teams who support several COTS products.
  • 5 + years experience managing teams who provide 24 x 7 support to multiple applications.
  • 5 + years proven experience with incident and change management.
  • 5 + years working with third party software vendors.
  • ITIL certified
  • Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for managing an application portfolio
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members to ensure effective performance and project execution.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the management and optimization of applications focused on enhancing client experiences at the airport.
  • Align the application portfolio with the overall organization goals and objectives.
  • Manage the budget allocated for applications including licensing fees, maintenance costs, and related expenses.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to support the ongoing maintenance and development of applications.
  • Accountable to meet SLA requirements and to guarantee client satisfaction
  • Promote ITIL best practices (Incident, Problem, Request, Changes)
  • Utilize full bilingual proficiency in French and English to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
  • Utilize hands-on technical experience to oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and usability standards.
  • Manage with third-party software providers to integrate and optimize applications under the portfolio.
  • Performance evaluations, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage the integration of various software solutions to create a seamless and efficient client experience.
  • Continuously optimize applications to meet evolving airport needs and technological advancements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, including airport staff, on the effective use of applications.
  • Address any technical issues or challenges that arise in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that applications comply with security best practices and adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations specific to airport operations.
  • Implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Own the portfolio Risk assessment
  • Monitor the performance of applications and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Promote enhancements to ensure that applications meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation process related to applications, including configurations, integrations, and workflows.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting portfolio performance, risks, and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including airport departments, airlines, and external partners, to ensure that applications align with the organization goals.
