About The Position

Teach Student Development 150: Public Speaking. Challenge and instruct students to communicate with confidence, clarity, and persuasion through structured speechwriting, debate, storytelling, and presentation exercises that extend well beyond the standard classroom experience. Participate in adjunct faculty meetings and the biannual speech showcase.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required, PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Public speaking training or experience required.

  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
