About The Position

This position involves teaching ACC 563: Taxation of Partnerships, a three-credit daytime course during the Winter semester 2027. The role includes adjusting and teaching course materials, answering student questions, and determining grades. The successful candidate will help students understand and apply the rules of partnership taxation to various factual scenarios, ideally informed by their own professional experience. This position requires the candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (completed by start date).
  • Professional or teaching experience related to federal income taxation of general and limited partnerships and partners.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • Ability to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience informing the ability to help students understand and apply the rules of partnership taxation to a range of factual scenarios of varying complexity.
