About The Position

This position involves supervising, supporting, mentoring, and debriefing undergraduate nursing students at a medical/surgical clinical site in Utah for 6-8 weeks during the semester. Each clinical shift will be between 6-12 hours. The role includes time spent at the clinical site, grading clinical assignments, and other responsibilities as determined by the course coordinator. This position does not involve teaching specialized clinical content, as that is covered in the related didactic courses. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN License in State of Utah.
  • At least 3 years' nursing experience.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
