About The Position

The University of Arkansas System is seeking an Adjunct Spanish Instructor for Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). PCCUA is a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas with campuses in DeWitt, Helena-W. Helena, and Stuttgart. The Arts and Sciences Department is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in Spanish language and culture. The role involves creating a supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement, cultural awareness, and language proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Spanish, Latin American studies, or a related field.
• Past experience teaching at the college level.
