The research position is within the broad area of biophysics, structural modeling, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, where the dynamics and interactions in biomolecular systems are to be studied. Researcher will work in the laboratory of Dr. Harish Vashisth in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. The researcher will be provided access to state-of-the-art supercomputing facilities with advanced GPU and data storage capabilities. Additionally, opportunities will be available for collaborations. The candidates should hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, or in a related interdisciplinary field. The candidate should have a strong background and training in theory and computational science related to molecular biophysics and biomolecular modeling and should have prior research experience and publications in simulations of biomolecular systems and MD simulation software.
