Faculty Part-Time - Finance

About The Position

The Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for part-time Adjunct Professors in Finance. The standard teaching load is one to two courses per semester. Successful candidates will teach a variety of finance classes to undergraduate students starting January 2027. An immediate instructional need is FINA.2000 Personal Finance. This is a non-benefited position represented by the Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW. Adjunct faculty salary rates are listed in the university’s Adjunct Faculty salary chart. Requirements

Graduate degree in Finance from an AACSB-accredited school.
Ability or experience teaching finance classes.
Industry or professional work experience with continued professional engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in teams.
Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.

Nice To Haves

At least ten years of industry or professional work experience.
Professional experience reflecting a substantial level of responsibility in a business or other enterprise operated according to business management principles.
Relevant finance certifications, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
