About The Position
The Department of Environmental, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors. The successful candidates will be expected to teach 1-2 courses per semester focused on weather, climate, and environmental science, beginning in September 2026.
Requirements
- Earned an MS or PhD degree in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Environmental Science, or closely related disciplines.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
